Abstract/Summary
Context One carried out an archaeological watching brief during groundworks for installing 50m of new water main at Lyons Walk in Shaftesbury on the 3rd and 4th November. The new pipeline was dug using directional drilling, inserted into the ground by way of a series of five 1m by 1m launch pits. No archaeological finds or features were revealed during these works.
