Abstract/Summary
The archaeological potential of the site was investigated by the excavation and recording of two trial pits, at the request of the Archaeological Officer, Dorset County Council. Both trial pits were excavated through a mixture of topsoil and rubble on to natural subsoils. No archaeological features or artefacts were found within the trail pits. No archaeological artefacts were found within the displaced spoil.
