Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on Handley Down, immediately adjacent to the north side of Handley Cross roundabout (SU 01145 16690). This was undertaken in advance of planning permission for a mobile phone mast and base station. A single 5m long machine trench was excavated. No archaeological deposits or features were encountered.
