Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation, by means of trench evaluation, on land at White Horse Drive, Preston, Weymouth (SY 7054 8325), was undertaken by AC archaeology during July 2004. The work comprised the machine excavation of four trenches totalling 40m2; an approximate 2% sample of the total site area. No evidence for archaeological features or deposits was revealed in any trench and no finds were recovered.
