Abstract/Summary
Salisbury Health Care have applied for planning permission to extend the car parking facility at the Westminster memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury, Dorset in order to provide more parking spaces for patients, visitors and staff. In order to undertake this work Salisbury Health Care have purchased a neighbouring property to the north-west and its accompanying garden. The property has since been resold but the garden retained; it is the intention of Salisbury Health Care to extend the present hospital car parking area over the former garden area. In order to achieve this aim approximately 1.00m of deposits will need to be removed from over the whole area of the garden in order to bring it down to the same level as the present hospital site.
