Abstract/Summary
detailed map precisely delineating the extent of Bosley common. The common appears to have been defined by the parish boundary on the noth side; the river Stour and river way on the west side, the linne of Old Barn Road on the south side extended onto St. Catherine's Hill. on the hill the eastern boundary encompasses three heaps of stones which may be barrows. part of Christchurch Common lies to the east and part of Coxes Common liies to the south east. meadows closes and commons lies to the south along the river Stour
