Abstract/Summary
Wessex Archaeology excavated a small trench in advance of the conversion and extension of the former Stationmaster's house into a Public House, in 1988. A section was excavated across a ditch which runs parallel to Weymouth Avenue and which is thought to be the flanking ditch of the Roman road to Radipole.
