Abstract/Summary
Fieldwork archive from observations during the re-alignment of Acland Road and the construction of a number of services across the Old Market Car Park. The observations revealed traces of the Roman town defences, some Roman stratigraphy and a series of post-Roman deposits. Much of the area was also disturbed by post-medieval buildings.
