Abstract/Summary
Wessex Archaeology carried out an evaluation of an area to the west of the Magistrates' Court, County Hall, Dorchester in 1991. The majority of the trenches were in the area of a large chalk-cut terrace for the construction of County Hall in 1939, which had removed all traces of archaeology. Only one trench contained some in situ Roman deposits.
