Summary

A house built for a merchant around the middle of the eighteenth century. The remains of early 17th century stone and brick walling to the rear. The building has walls of red brick with white stone dressings and a slate roof. Early Georgian style.

It is a mid-18th century merchants house and incorporates fragments of a slightly earlier building to the north. <2>
