Former London & South Western Railway branch from Wareham. Worgret Junction to Swanage open 1885 (St John Thomas 1966) and closed to passengers in 1972 (Daniels and Dench 1973). (The section between Furzebrook Clay works - SY 934840 and 1:50 000 1979).
