Full Description
Findspot of a Roman coin hoard uncovered by a metal detector in 1988 SW of East Holme village. It consisted of 151 post-reform tetrarchic folles minted between c. AD 295 and 310. 37% came from the London mint, 31% from Trier and 18% from Lyon; the Central mints produced 12% and the Eastern less then 1%. The hoard was probably deposited c. AD 308/9. <1>
