Full Description

A barge that sank when it hit the breakwater was found by Weymouth and Portland BSAC inside Portland Harbour. includes sprit sail and Thames barge keel.. (1)

Dive Dorset: 147 p:116: GPS; 50 34.93N; 02 24.84W - Portland Harbour. (2).

Wreck site and archaeological remains:

Wreck in 50 34.93N; 02 24.84W. This unidentified wreck lies about 70m to the north of the remainsof the ENECURI. The vessel is sitting on the sloping breakwater wall, almost at its base. She is a whole vessel complete with propeller. Depth to the deck is 11m. It is possible to enter her holds. Her position is fairly easy to find as there is a large number '86' on the wall, 10 yards to the north. (2)
