Although initially charted by the UK Hydrographic Office at the approximate position 50°32.44N, 001°55.68W, in a general depth of 34m, the STELLA M could not be found in a 2009 multi-beam survey, and the record of her position has been amended to 'dead'. (4)

The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
