Full Description
A sailing vessel that sank on Studwell Roads, Swanage in 1783. (1)
Was safe arrived in Studwell Road, was entirely lost in a Gale of Wind, in attempting to proceed from that place to Liverpool; the people with great Difficulty saved.(2)
The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
