Two small landing craft about 100M apart (2)
Located in 50 35.58N; 002 25.78W. The position given is on the inside of the north-eastern breakwater, approximately 150 yards south of the North Ship channel entrance. Here, on the harbour bed at a depth of 15m and no more than 20ft apart, are two small Second World War era landing craft. With their hinge-down ramps and still complete with engines, both craft are easily recognisable. Both lie with their bows up onto the bottom rocks of the breakwater. (2)
