Full Description

Royal Navy vessel described as using sail and screw. Not in Kemp, P. 1999 British Warship Losses of the 20th Century (1)
Suffered severe damage and foundered following an explosion of ammunition carried on board. (2)

The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
