Summary

Bronze clasp, lamp, spoons and rings of probable Roman date said to have been found on Jordan Hill, probably in the late nineteenth century. Now in the Dorset County Museum.

Full Description

The following bronze implements, found on Jordan Hill are in the Warne Collection, Dorset County Museum. (Not classified). Clasp or double hook, hollow cigar shaped, perforated and with engraved lines. A lamp with three openings. Three spoons with round bowls and one with a fluted handle. Two plain rings, - possibly finger rings. <1>

No further information regarding these finds was obtained during field investigation. Not seen in the Museum, but these are probably Roman judging by the description. <2>
