Two to three pit features on the coast at Abbotsbury by Abbotsbury Castle, visible on a 1940s AP . Possibly gravel or sand extraction pits? (1)

The features were digitally plotted from aerial photographs {2} during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. They are associated with a pillbox and direction arrow and are considered to be associated with WWII military activity.
