Full Description

Peat deposits recorded during a bore-hole survey at Boat Building Factory, Bridge Approach. A 0.65 m thick band of 'soft, black amorphous peat was recorded at a depth of 7.60 m below ground level below within Borehole 1. The peat lay below a 2.8 m band of black silty clay and further clay/gravel deposits. (1)
