Full Description
A post medieval gravel pit is marked on the First and Second Edition OS maps (1-2), located at Claywell, Studland.
Two pits are visible as earthworks at this location on aerial photographs (3) and Lidar imagery (3) and are considered likely to be the remains of the gravel pit described above. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
