Full Description
A clay pit marked on the 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map published in 1889.
The remains of pits associated with post medieval clay extraction are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Lidar imagery (2011) of Thrasher's Pit. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
