A clay pit marked on the Second Edition OS map (1).

The remains of pits associated with post medieval clay extraction are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (2) and Lidar imagery (3) of Thrasher's Pit, Corfe Castle. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
