Full Description

Lytchett Minster Parish covers about 3500 acres and lies immediately west of Poole. Everything points to a history of late development in an area of marginal land. The parish was only a Chapelry of Sturminster Marshall in the medieval period and the village itself is not recorded until 1244. (1)
