Full Description

Roman coffin sited to 83 Weston Road from OS 1:2500 1976) A small Roman coffin 27 inches long, 18 inches wide and 10 inches deep of Portland limestone, was found in the garden of No 83 Weston Road. It had an irregular lid averaging 6 inches in thickness. It was on and in modern rubbish, but its original findspot is unknown. <1>
