Bronze Age axe sited from OS 1:10000 1978 to Portland) (Marginal) A Bronze Age axe found on the Isle of Portland is 4 3/4 inches long, has an oval mouth, externally flat face the sides being rounded. Two vertical ribs run about 2 1/2 inches down the face. In Evans Collection. (1)
