An old quarry marked on the first edition OS map (1) Also marked on the second edition OS map (2)
The quarrying described above in (1-2) is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 to the west of Durlston Country Park. The quarrying is visible over an area measuring approximately 57 m by 55 m. (3) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
