An old quarry marked on the first edition of the OS map (1) Also marked on the second edition (2)
The quarry described above in (1-2) is visible as an earthwork on recent lidar imagery to the west of California Farm. The quarry is located on limestone and measures approximately 90 m by 17 m. (3-4) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
