An old quarry, marked on the first edition OS map, also marked on the second edition (1-2)
Quarrying is visible in the area described above to the south west of California Farm. The quarries are located on limestone, visible as pits over an area measuring approximately 540 m by 90 m. (3-4) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
