An old gravel pit marked on the first edition OS map. Also marked on the second edition map. The site is visible as an earthworth on lidar (Channel Coast Observatory 2008; Channel Coast Observatory 2009) and was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
