A quarry marked on the first edition of the OS map (1) Also marked on the second edition (2)

The quarry described above in (1-2) is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946. The quarry is formed of two pits visible over an area measuring approximately 110 m by 17 m. (3) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
