Full Description
Sited to within about 20 yards. Two complete skeletons in 2 stone lined cists separated by a few yards. There was no pottery and the top of the cists were about 4ft below the surface of the ground. I noted no other details. The finds which were not reported were made in 1932-3. A few yards away were 3 deneholes lined with small closely packed flints. They had a diameter of about 4ft 6 at the bottom rising to a small opening at the top about 3ft 6 high. They were completely empty. <1>
The area is quarried out. There were no surface finds or traces of antiquity. <2>
