Full Description

A former dovecote, later a privy and now a store dating possibly to the 17th century. A good squared and coursed Portland block with a stone slab roof. A small square building with an intermediate stone slab floor and a window to the S, now blocked flush to the wall with brick. The solid stone block roof has a steep pitch and stone ridge. A door from the 19th century opens to the E into a glazed mid-20th century connecting corridor to the house. A small opening on the W wall faces away from the house. Stone gutters project at its ends. Originally a dovecote, a blocked gable opening may once have had a louver or dove openings.
