Full Description

At Coombefield Quarries c. 1997 a covered cist containing a skeleton was found. It consisted of upright orthostats backed with horizontal slabs aligned NNW to SSE. Approximately 50 yards to the SE a beehive chamber and oblong chamber were discovered in 1897 (4 001 105 A). (1)
