Summary

A post hole recorded during archaeological evaluation of the proposed site of an extension to the cemetery in 1997. Possibly of late medieval or later date.

Full Description

The post hole was well preserved; a single pottery sherd recovered from its surface may indicate a late medieval or later date, but this is not certain, as the sherd could have come down through ploughsoil. <1>
