A scatter of worked chert was recovered from topsoil in 2000 during archaeological work on the route of a proposed mine access road, and during cnstruction of the road in July-August 2015.

Full Description
Scatter of worked flint and chert of probable Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age date recovered from topsoil. Probably represents background scatter of material present in many areas of Portland.
