Full Description

A short length of ditch beside a burnt flint spread, partially excavated, and traced for approximately 3m in Plot 63.2. The portion excavated was 0.4m wide and 0.25 deep with steep sides. The ditch fill was a dark brown loam mixed with burnt flint. Two sherds of Bronze Age pottery and worked flints including 9 waste flakes, 3 cores and 1 retouched flake were recovered from the filling of the ditch.
