Full Description
Napoleonic signal post on Ballard Down, in use between 1798 and 1814. Its remains comprise a small circular earthwork. The NT incorrectly gives the position as SZ04500430. (1) The site may have been re-used for the 'Ballard Day Mark', indicated on a chart of 1909. (2)
