A stone-walled enclosure, south-east of Eastington Farm. (1)

A stock enclosure of drystone walling with an entrance on the east side lies on a terrace on a south slope above Seacombe Bottom and south-east of Eastington. It is sited next to a disused sheep wash 112,443 and was probably where the sheep were held before being dipped. It is D-shaped measuring 14m long 10m wide and 1m high. The enclosure is shown on the 1891 Ordinance Survey map.

A sheepwash shown on the 1891 and 1928 O.S. maps but disused by 1960. It made use of a natural spring and an enclosure (112,404) built beside it was probably a sheep pen. The remains consist of a drystone wall revetment forming a wide area around the spring approximately 2.5m wide and 5m long.
