Full Description

Two gold armlets exhibited by Miss Dansey and weighing about 3oz and 1oz respectively, were found on the Chesil Beach near Portland. The larger one is plain except for a very little lattice ornamentation work near each end and was pronounced by the British Museum to be early British work. <1>

No further information was obtained during field investigation either as to the site or the present whereabouts of the finds. <2>
