Archaeological evaluation in 1993 revealed several linear features, interpreted as a trackway and field boundaries of Romano-British date.

Full Description

Four linear features observed - three field boundary / drainage ditches and one trackway. Datable material recovered from only one feature - dated to Romano-British period. This is consistent with interpretations of earlier evaluations on or near the site which suggested presence of Romano-British field system. <1>
