Full Description
Open field remains, of likely medieval date, S.W of the village occupy the long shape down to the sea. The head of the shape has 2 strip lynchets under grass; below these are extensive slight remains of contour ploughed strips. The area is approximately 50 acres. <1>
Visible as earthworks on aerial photographs <2> and digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
