A large oval mound on the west side of Beacon Knap, interpreted as a probable long barrow. Visible on aerial photographs {2} and digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Full Description
A large oval mound 135 feet by 95 feet and 4 feet high aligned east-west. It is prominently situated on a crest, and is probably a ploughed down long-barrow built largely of local stone. <1>
