`Got on shore in a gale... (1) `Poole, 26th Nov: The LEMUEL (brig)...is on shore in Studland Bay, and being stripped of her stores and rigging; she lies in a bad position, and is not likely to be got off. (2) 26-NOV-1852, LEMUEL of Bristol, a brig of 300 tons from Portsmouth in ballast, got ashore in Studland Bay. Vessel stripped of her stores and rigging.
