Full Description
`...two other vessels foundered, names unknown, supposed all hands lost. It is also reported that a large steamer with two funnels, name unknown, foundered with all hands. She was seen before a sweeping sea and, after the sea had passed over, she had disappeared. Crew Lost: All Date of Loss Qualifier: A (1)
The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
