Built: 1858 Owner: J T Chester, Goole Master: H Hastings Crew: 4 Date of Loss Qualifier: A Crew saved by the Swanage lifeboat CHARLOTTE MARY and landed at Studland in order that they could watch their ship, and reboard her if the opportunity presented itself, but she became a total wreck. (1)(3) The CHARLOTTE MAY took the crew of 4 from the schooner WILLIAM MASKELL stranded at Old Harry ledge. The crew were landed at Studland so that they could watch for an opportunity to reboard the vessel, but she became a total loss (4)
