A possible Second World War wreck site, the remains of a vessel, approximately 25 m by 6 m is visible in the intertidal mud of Holes Bay, to the south west of Stertes, on Aerial Photographs taken in 1947 <2>. This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
