The site of an open rope walk to the rear of 60 West Street, Bridport is marked on the 1888 1:500 Ordnance Survey maps. (1) (2) The rope walk probably went out of use by the end of the 19th century as it is no longer shown on the 1902 Ordnance Survey map (3).
