The Poole lifeboat MANLEY WOOD was launched to their assistance in heavy seas, and saved one man of the two aboard; the other was rescued from the shore by lifebelt. The vessel had parted from her anchors in Studland Bay, leaving only the master and his son aboard. <1-2>
