Full Description
The site of a former open rope walk to the rear of 144 South Street, Bridport, identified from the 1888 Ordnance Survey map (1). The map shows a turn house at the west end of the walk. It had gone out of use by the beginning of the 20th century, as the 1902 Ordnance Survey map no longer shows it, though the turn house still remained (2).
The walk is no longer extant and the area is covered with modern housing.
