Full Description

`Poole January 20th: The JUNO...on Tuesday night last, in a violent gale of wind, got on shore on the sands at the entrance of this harbour. Yesterday upwards of 200 chests of fruit were taken out of her by the help of wagons and, should the weather prove fair, it is hoped the whole of the cargo might be saved. The vessel is thought to be bilged and it is very doubtful whether she may ever get off again. (4) `200 chests of fruit saved with the help of local wagons, and dried out. Vessel now bilged.
